Sink roll assemblies and bushings for continuous coating lines
UNIQUE ENG supplies sink rolls used inside the pot of continuous coating lines to guide and redirect steel strip as it passes through the molten metal bath. Manufactured from corrosion- and wear-resistant cast alloys to withstand continuous immersion, each roll is produced to customer pot design and drawing specifications.
We also supply the associated wear components — sink roll bushings, journal sleeves and bearing bushes. These run submerged with no lubrication other than the bath itself, and in most lines they are what limits campaign length rather than the roll body. As the journal and bushing wear, clearance opens up and coating thickness begins to vary before anything looks broken. Supplied as replacement items and as part of complete roll assemblies.
